This classic womens Merino wool turtleneck top is made in our light weight Merino and features an extended neck which looks great either "scrunched" up under the chin, or folded over for a more classic look. The neckline sits comfortably around the collar bones.

This top is a slim-fitting garment and with its simple styling and classic lines, it is ideal worn next to the skin as a base layer but can be worn on its own. This makes the perfect piece from which to start your autumn/winter wardrobe.

LOOKING BACK AT 2020

We all remember 2020 as the year that turned the world upside down! At Woolerina, the impacts of the pandemic were felt in a positive way, as we responded to an increased demand for Australian made product.

We entered 2020 at the height of a drought, where dust storms were occurring almost daily and we remember our photoshoot day as hot, dry and dusty. As the year moved on, we received amazing rain and finished the year with a flood.

We launched our AW20 collection under new branding, after engaging to refresh and refine all aspects of the Woolerina brand and we were absolutely thrilled with the results.

The Woolerina team consisted of seven, with three of our team keeping our workroom buzzing as we brought all of our garment production in-house. In mid 2020, we purchased our fully automated CAD system and cutting machine, creating huge efficiencies for our business.

Having already made the decision to dramatically reduce the number of in-person events we attended and with people staying home, our online store was busier than it had ever been.

2020 was a defining year for our business and one we certainly won’t forget!

We were excited to begin working with George Egan, a beautiful friend and fashion photographer. George helped us to elevate photography across our brand for use on our social media channels and website.

We introduced our specially designed calico garment storage bags over these years. This was a major step in helping us to dramatically reduce the use of plastic within our business.

These years also saw the wholesale side of our business grow, with Woolerina garments stocked in over 30 small, independently owned and like-minded boutiques across Australia!

All Woolerina fabrics have been carefully developed by our founder Warwick, using a very specific selection criteria for the raw wool, to ensure softness, durability and longevity.

We have enjoyed hearing of different projects already made with our fabric remnants, including blankets, clothing and even a wedding dress!
