Oh wow... I have been super quiet lately and I am so sorry for that! But, we recently had the first con of the Australian season, melbourne Supanova, and although I wasn't really feeling in the mood for a convention I dragged myself down there and actually had a really good time! I was Raven from Teen Titans on the saturday and Killer Frost from the flash on the sunday, both pretty basic cosplays but now I have my motivation back and I'm working on some pretty cool stuff, including a costume for a short film and designing my next armour project for comic con... I'll try and keep this page updated, but if all else fails you can find me over on instagram at where i am a lot more active! (I'm the Raven on the left in that pic, other raven unknown. Once again, more Star Trek... But I was lucky enough to be able to shoot my Star Trek cosplay in downtown Vancouver last weekend! The photographer also gave me the phaser and let me borrow the wig for stan lees comic con, so now I'm extra excited!!

Ok so I know I've been pretty quiet but the reason for that is I'm in America!!! I was at New York Comic Con last weekend, in my starfleet captains uniform, and I was lucky enough to meet Yaya Han! I also attended the starfleet academy experience at the intrepid sea air and space museum and got some photos in the captains chair of the bridge of the enterprise (with of course my tribble). I'll be attending LA Comic Con in about two weeks time, wearing the same costume (unless I can rustle something up on the road!). I hope everyone who attended had a blast at AMC, it was hard not to get jealous of everyone's con pics even though I'm having a crazy good time over here!

Quick update from me! I finished a Scarlet Witch commission recently for a lovely customer, and am about halfway through a rey costume for another customer (my last commission before my USA holiday). I also finished a princess jasmine cosplay yesterday, taking this years costume count up to 16. I need to finish off my starfleet uniform and accessories, and my ghostbuster jumpsuit in the next two weeks, as I leave for the states in 14 days!! (Definitely not panicked screaming). I feel like I've been neglecting this page, but I'm still here, just super busy!!! I post a lot more on my Instagram, so check that out if you want to see more regular posts from me!!

Alrighty everybody I have to say that I will not be attending AMC/Pax/the November supanova tour this year, because I will be going to America in October. However, I am lucky enough to be attending New York Comic Con and Stan Lee's Comikaze whilst in the states, so my convention calendar is not empty yet!! I'll be taking fairly simple costumes over there as I'll be travelling for a month, but at the moment it looks like I'll be taking a generic Starfleet uniform and a Jillian Holtzmann costume (ghostbusters). Have to say, I'm pretty excited!!

Just thought I'd share a few pics of my dream cosplays, to date. When i first started cosplaying, in 2012, these costumes were all put aside because I always assumed I'd never had the skill or confidence to actually pull them off. Leotards and bodysuits i always assumed would be out of my grasp, and now I've made three leotards and two bodysuits this year alone. Angela and Celaena were definitely the most time intensive, with Celaena being the ultimate dream cosplay-Ever since I fisrt picked up Throne of Glass I knew I wanted to make that costume, but I never thought I'd actually be able to!! I'm so grateful for the opportunities I had to pursue this hobby and also to the amazing people I've met through cosplay, and the ones who support me and encourage me every step of the way. Love you guys xoxo
