Dropping the 4th wall on the world of leather craft for some real talk.

A bit of a rant.

The truth behind doing what you love, is that it's a roller coaster of confidence and despair.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Because I love it.

Regardless of previous success, every week requires new heights, achievements and problems to solve.

I just wanted to take a moment to express in a genuine way how it feels in the retail environment with your heart on your sleeve.

Hand stamping into natural Italian vegetable tanned leather just hits different 😍 and the results are always top tier.

Locally harvested deer, hides tanned in store.

Deer are an invasive species in Australia, but respect is always shown to the animals that give us so much.

"Respect" means nothing is wasted and anything we can do locally, removes us from the machine of fast fashion and mass production.

I almost have a bark tanning system down pat for those with commissioned hides on the list. Which means a natural, longer lasting product.

After a brief socials hiatus, Vulcan is back!!

Sometimes social media can dominate life. Filming and editing can be distracting from the comfort I get from doing what I love.

But I also love to share my process, some asmr and to show people, even the little things take time.
