The Store is located within Fremantle in the historic Pearce Bros Building, built in the late 1800's as a shoe store for the Pearce Bros Shoe Co. The West End of Fremantle has applied for World Heritage Listing for the store as it is the largest an most intact nineteenth century Port City in the Southern Hemisphere. This site has always traded as a shoe store and some of the display shelves are original and the over all ambiance is still there. Many people just come in to smell the real leather and to take photos of this fascinating interior and displays of old bric a brac and of course lovely Footwear
