We have had the same question from Queensland clubs all month: does the new QPL logo mean a full re-kit?

It depends on what you are wearing now. Some strips carry the change without much work. Others are due anyway. Football Queensland's regulations also allow a club to request dispensation where extenuating circumstances apply, though approval is not automatic and FQ makes the final call.

Send us your competition and your current kit artwork and we will tell you which position you are in. Link in the comments.

Presentation night sorted.

Send your Account Manager the recipient list and the value you want on each voucher. We have every voucher ready before the night. You hand them out, and players spend them on gear they choose themselves.

One part of Football Queensland's 2027 kit regulations is easy to miss. Approval comes before ordering.

Every club submits its main and alternate kit designs through the FQ online form and waits for approval before placing an order. Submissions close 13 November 2026 for NPL, QPL 1 and 2, and all SEQ and regional QPL, and 6 February 2027 for community competitions.

If you want a second set of eyes on your designs before they go in, we are here. Link in the comments.

KPI Sports congratulates Kevin Lawson (St Albans FC), Julie Porter (Central FC) and Kay Zimmerman (City Brothers FC), volunteers from three of our KPI partner clubs, on being nominated for Football Queensland's 2026 Service to Football Platinum Award.

Between them, they have given more than 100 years to the game. Kevin has been part of St Albans for 45+ years and is currently Club President. Julie has more than 35 years in football, volunteers as Central FC's Secretary and still plays each week. Kay has kept City Brothers running for 20+ years as a long-serving committee member.

Winners are announced at the 2026 Queensland Football Gala at Brisbane City Hall on Saturday 10 October. Thank you, Kevin, Julie and Kay, for everything you do for your clubs.

Football Queensland has released its 2027 On-Field Kit Regulations. The FQPL brand becomes the Queensland Premier League, and QPL clubs are expected to carry the new QPL logo on playing kit from the 2027 season.

It is worth checking your current strip now rather than in November. Send us what you are wearing and we will tell you what changes. Link in the comments.
