These cuties have been patiently waiting for me to finish them for a few months now. Why is it that some products feel so scary to work on? 👻 meanwhile I’m currently living in overalls, winter leading into spring is where I find they work so well (and summer and autumn tbf) and they would so easily slot into my wardrobe right now… actually im probably a bit intimidated because I know what comes next; translating the pattern into sizes for everyone, creating 3D visuals for my website and then opening up pre-orders! Which is scary and exciting

My studio is as chaotic as my brain right now and I’ve been so busy making that I’ve forgotten to talk about it & let you know I have a stall there 🫠

I will be selling some of the cutest locally designed and handmade things for actual babies, furbabies, kids and mums.

Honestly, I’m not mad about having an excuse to share pics of my daughter here. However, despite her good girl attitude, she’s maybe not the best denim dog collar model…an all black dog is sadly quite tricky to photograph, especially in winter when I’ve let her coat get extra fluffy and warm

I’ll be bringing more of these collars in a couple of different denims, to Deakin Uni for Piccadilly Market later this month. Trying to decide whether small dog size is enough, or whether I should bring other options too 🤷‍♀️ help me decide - what size is your good boi/gurl?

I dare you to find a pair of softer, squishier & cosier tracks 👀 for your bebé

These cuties are made from some increadible deadstock Australian made wool & cotton fleece found via Circular Sourcing with an odd little pocket lined with a h**p & cotton stripe jersey.

How gorgeous is the two tone fabric!!! I also have a butter yellow & mustard version in my studio too, waiting patiently to be made into more cosy winter warming pieces.

I have a question though - should I put these online now? This is part of the new kids range I’m making for Piccadilly Market at the end of the month. But the chilly air has made me think I should put a couple online sooner 🤔 LMK 👇

Guys I had so much fun with this project. I documented the lot. Fun fact, when I was studying fashion design I really thought I’d end up working in evening wear (or designing clothes for Barbie haha) but this was the first time Id made a corset pattern and fully constructed it with steel boning and everything 😂 I think its cool but I’m also a big nerd. Do you want to see the process??

Some WIP shots of my newest and much overdue design.

400gsm Italian deadstock denim. Structured, substantial. But take a look inside and you’ll discover that the inside is brushed soft, and lined with a vintage floral print. A sweet surprise for a hard-working exterior.

Pins still in while I refine the final construction to give it the finish this fabric deserves.
