YPR Client Support Snapshot (De-identified Example)
Recently, Your Positive Ripple received one of its first official community referrals through a local Emergency Relief service for a woman experiencing significant social isolation, agoraphobia, ongoing health concerns, and financial hardship. Due to her health and anxiety, she was unable to leave her home and initially felt uncomfortable with in-person support.
YPR responded using a gentle, person-centred approach focused on dignity, flexibility, and emotional safety. Instead of expecting the client to attend a service location, support was adapted around her comfort levels through extended phone conversations, trust-building, and a low-pressure doorstep clothing drop-off.
After listening to the client’s needs, preferences, health considerations, and comfort concerns, YPR curated a personalised winter clothing bundle including warm everyday wear, sleepwear, comfort items, and practical essentials. A small birthday gift and coffee were also included to help the client feel seen, valued, and cared for during a particularly difficult period of illness and isolation.
The client later shared that the support had helped her “beyond words,” expressing gratitude not only for the clothing itself, but for the patience, understanding, and kindness shown throughout the process.
This interaction highlighted an important gap within traditional clothing support models — particularly for women experiencing anxiety, illness, mobility barriers, trauma, or social isolation who may struggle to access community spaces or mainstream services.
YPR’s emerging model demonstrates how personalised, dignity-based outreach can create meaningful impact through:

🌊✨ little YPR update… ✨🌊
Today was a really big step for Your Positive Ripple.
I had the opportunity to present the YPR vision and talk about creating a safe, welcoming and dignity-focused space for plus-size women in our community. 💛
Was I nervous? Absolutely.
Did I choke up a little during the presentation? Yep… human moment and all. 😅
But I took a breath, reset myself, and kept going — and honestly, I’m really proud that I did.
This journey has never been about being perfect.
It’s about showing up anyway.
It’s about kindness, connection, confidence and creating waves of support for women who may have forgotten their worth for a little while.
Now I wait over the next week or so to hear officially whether YPR may be able to move forward with setting up a space. 🌊
No matter what happens, today reminded me how far I’ve come.
A year ago I never would have imagined standing in front of people speaking about a dream that grew from some of the hardest seasons of my life.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, listened to my ideas, donated clothing, shared kind words, or simply believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself. Every single wave matters. 🌊🦋
This is only the beginning.

Today, we celebrate all kinds of mums 💖🌊🦋✨
The mums raising children. The mums raising themselves again after hard seasons. The step mums, foster mums, grandmothers, carers, aunties, and chosen family. The women longing to be mums. The women grieving. The mums holding everything together quietly behind the scenes.
And of course… the fur baby mums too 🐾💕
The ones with paw prints on their hearts, fur on their clothes, and unconditional love waiting at the door.
Motherhood and nurturing come in many forms. Sometimes it’s biological. Sometimes it’s emotional. Sometimes it’s simply the way someone makes others feel safe, seen, and cared for.

GEELONG COMMUNITY – I’M LOOKING FOR A SPACE 💛
I’m working on bringing Your Positive Ripple (YPR) to life here in Geelong

— a small, community‑led initiative supporting women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, and LGBTQ+ community members by providing access to plus‑size clothing (size 18+) with dignity and care.
✨ The exciting part: I already have the clothing and stock ready to go.
What I’m looking for now is the right space in Geelong to operate from.
Ideal space: • Around the size of a double garage or small studio
• Room for clothing racks, storage and a small welcoming area
• Ability to set up and leave stock in place
Basic requirements: • Access to toilet facilities
• Wheelchair accessible (or as close as possible)
• Power
• Parking for 1–2 cars
This would be a low‑impact, respectful setup, designed to complement existing services — not disrupt them.
