YPR is excited to be part of the FREE Women’s Health Festival at Cloverdale Community Centre this Tuesday! ❤️

📅 Tuesday 8 September
⏰ Festival: 10:00 am–3:00 pm
📍 Cloverdale Community Centre

You’ll find YPR in the Service Provider Showcase from 1:00–3:00 pm. Come and have a chat, learn more about what we do and discover how we support women through dignity, choice and confidence. 👗✨

The festival also includes women’s health information, chair yoga, singing, mental-health discussions, peri- and menopause conversations, a sensory-friendly chill space, children’s activities, free swim passes, a mobile wardrobe and free lunch.

It’s a free community event and everyone is welcome—come for an hour or stay for the day!

Sometimes a ripple begins with something painful.

Today, I received news that brought an unexpected sense of validation and reminded me just how far I have come.

Your Positive Ripple grew from a time when my confidence, wellbeing and sense of purpose had been deeply affected. What happened changed the direction of my life—but it didn’t get to decide where my story ended.

Instead, I chose to turn that pain into purpose.

YPR is built on the belief that every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, valued and supported. It’s about helping women rediscover confidence and dignity, one small ripple at a time.

We may not always see accountability happen immediately, but today reminded me that the truth can eventually surface—and something beautiful can still grow from what tried to break us.

You don’t have to create a tidal wave.
One ripple is enough. Then another. ❤️🌊

Today was one of those days that reminded me exactly why I started Your Positive Ripple. ❤️🌊

After a morning volunteering at Emergency Relief, it was straight into setting up for two very special Curated Confidence appointments.

I had three absolute miracle workers helping me — Aylah, Dylan and Leo — sorting, setting up and helping get everything ready. And beautiful Dolly even arrived with lunch to make sure we were fed. ❤️ Thank you guys, I honestly couldn't have done today without you.

Our mission was to find two young women something they could feel really special in for an upcoming occasion.

Mission accomplished x 2! 👗✨

There was one moment today that really stayed with me. One of the young women told me she doesn't wear dresses, but she trusted me when I asked if she'd be willing to try one.

She did.

And she absolutely sparkled. ✨

Seeing that change in confidence when she looked at herself is something I'll remember for a long time.

This is why YPR isn't just about clothes. Sometimes it's about having a safe space to try something different, having someone beside you who believes you might just love it, and then seeing yourself a little differently.

Both ladies left very happy and will be back Monday to collect their special outfits once I've finished a couple of little alterations and steamed everything ready for them. They'll also choose some comfy everyday clothes, jackets, shoes and handbags — with a few little makeup gifts tucked into their take-home goodies too. ❤️

Days like today make all the sorting, boxes, steaming and chaos completely worth it.

This is why I do it. ❤️🌊🦋
