Shearing is happening on Monday. There are some nice fleeces out there, they are a bit on the short side due to weather delays in the spring, but that's just how it goes.

I've restocked some more mohair on Etsy. I found some nice Baxter fleeces from a few years ago - one young goat fleece with a longer lock length, and an adult fleece with a shorter lock.

Shearing is all done! Some fleeces were better than expected. The shearing delays and cold/wet weather can make for matted and crusty hair. They are happy to be prancing around the sunshine in the n**e. 😅

The new babies introduction to the herd went well yesterday. It's always a bit scary seeing tiny kids getting butted around (but it is normal goat culture - they have to learn other goat's boundaries). Thankfully they were speedy and bouncy and dodged the grumpy adults and made some new friends.

Two new babies, a boy and a girl, joined the crew last night. 🥰 They are the only babies this year, but I'm very happy to have a boy and girl from one of the high quality mohair girls.

They are $115 each. I have had to revise the pricing of the goat coats to better reflect the cost of materials and the 4+ hours of work that goes into each coat.

I'm currently working on a batch of size 6's. I'm not doing customs at this time.
