Book week is a great week to be working at school, as a casual teacher aide I never know where I will be but got the opportunity to be in a High School class that we’re talking about their after school plans. Instead of reading my book to lower primary it was a great opportunity to explain my author journey, with all its challenges but also all the reward. Maybe I’ve inspired some indie authors, who knows ❤️

It was so good to see so many self published authors in the one space! Grandma came with us and stocked up on some beautiful books and we added some more for home too!

HAPPY WORLD BEE DAY 🐝

We absolutely love these little pollinators and we have for a long time! Kiara’s love of bees started more than 5 years ago when she was busy making beehives and running potting workshops at a local market at just 5 years old 🥰 to think this love has flourished into now calling ourselves a published author with a children’s book focusing on Australian native plants, pollinators and of course bees!

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day and I get to spend it with the kiddos celebrating our little book 🪴 we will be selling signed copies of My Australian Flower Garden out the front of The BookShop at Caloundra tomorrow morning from 9-11am while the Caloundra Markets are on! We can’t wait to meet families and book lovers on the sunny coast ☀️

THIS MOTHER’S Day, Sunday May 10th, me and the kiddos will be set up at The BookShop at Caloundra while the Caloundra Markets are on out the front! It’s going to be a beautiful morning and a great way to spend Mother’s Day, together, celebrating our little book!

We hope to see you there and that this will be an amazing morning for book sales as it’s been a bit of a hard slog after the initial excitement ☀️
