Haha. The amount of times someone has said....it's just a quick job. Ie hemming trousers. Yes. It is quick. Now. Its taken me years to perfect the art of hemming as it takes practice. Like any other skill. Don't undervalue the skill of sewing.

4 days until the 1st birthday of . And it's my 50th birthday on June 15! So I am celebrating with my fellow crafters at the market this Sunday. Run don't walk to the Mudgeeraba Memorial Hall at 9am on Sunday morning. It's a day not to be missed.

My girl .lilyyy and I voted in our first federal election in Australia today. Was liberating to know we can have a say in a country that allows women to vote. Still countries in the world that don't afford this privilege.
But no democracy sausage as it wasn't the actual voting day so an iced coffee had to suffice.

It's a rainy day here on the Gold Coast. Perfect day to be inside preparing for the that are happening tomorrow. And the good thing about these markets are they are inside so you can still get your fix in all weather. Come on down to Mudgeeraba Memorial Hall tomorrow from 9am till 1pm.
