Meadow Lane was born from a very real frustration.

I experienced the soapy taste that can transfer from silicone tableware, and watched my baby refuse meals because of it.

That sent me down a rabbit hole of researching materials, questioning what was normal, and looking for a better option.

I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I created Meadow Lane.

A cleaner choice for families who want one. 🤍

I don’t know about your kids, but mine always wanted to help in the kitchen.

The problem was finding tools that were actually made for little hands.

Not oversized adult utensils.
Not plastic toys pretending to be kitchen tools.

Just real tools, scaled down for little helpers.

Our MeadowPrep set is made from solid beechwood and stainless steel, so they can whisk, mash, roll, stir and explore right alongside you.

some of the best conversations happen while you’re baking muffins, making dinner, or cleaning up flour for the tenth time. 🤍

It’s not really about the kitchen tools.

It’s about the confidence they build, the skills they learn, and the memories they’ll carry long after the mess is gone.

Plastic is still plastic.

Whether it’s BPA-free plastic, recycled plastic, bio-plastic, or plant-based plastic… it’s still plastic.

BPA-free simply means one chemical has been removed. It doesn’t mean the product is chemical-free, microplastic-free, or made from a different material altogether.

Recycled plastic helps reduce waste, but it doesn’t change what the material is. It’s still plastic touching your child’s food.

As a mum, I wasn’t looking for the “least bad” plastic option.

I was looking for an alternative.

That’s why Meadow Lane uses stainless steel eating surfaces, paired with LFGB silicone only where it’s genuinely needed.

Not because it’s trendy.
Not because it sounds good in marketing.

Because our little ones deserve better than clever labels.

What matters isn’t what a product is called.
It’s what it’s actually made from. 🤍

The plates are absolutely out of control over here guys 😂

The covers matching just made sense to me. Theres no figuring out which goes on what, and you can swap and change colours and styles between children that are different ages and our stainless steel range also matches the ceramics, they all work together 🫶🏼

You know that $100 stainless steel dinner set everyone raves about?

Ours is made from the same materials.
The same stainless steel eating surface.
The same low-tox approach.

The difference?

We believe safer choices shouldn’t come with a luxury price tag.

Because every family deserves access to low-tox mealtimes, not just the ones who can afford a $100 dinner set.

✨ Premium materials.
✨ Independently tested.
✨ Priced for real families.

Would you pay double for the same thing? 👇🤍

I never expected to think twice about what my kids ate off of. Like most mums, I was focused on what was on the plate, not the plate itself.

Then I started noticing things I couldn’t ignore. The lingering smells. The soapy taste that never seemed to fully wash away. The scratches, stains, and wear that appeared over time.

That sent me down a rabbit hole of research.

I’m not here to tell you what you should use in your home. Every family makes the choices that feel right for them. But for us, switching to stainless steel was one of those small changes that gave me peace of mind.

It doesn’t absorb odours, flavours, or detergents. It’s durable enough for toddler life. And it helps me feel confident that what’s touching my children’s food is as simple and low-tox as possible.

Motherhood is full of choices. This is one I feel really good about. 🤍

Have you ever changed your mind about a product after becoming a parent? I’d love to hear what it was. 👇🏼

You know the ones…

✔️ Throw their plate across the room
✔️ Tip their bowl upside down just to see what happens
✔️ Drop cutlery approximately 47 times per meal

That’s exactly why we chose durable 304 stainless steel, paired with strong LFGB-certified silicone suction.

No fragile plastic. No lingering odours. No plates sliding across the table every time they reach for a blueberry.

Just practical, low-tox tableware designed to survive the chaos of real family life.

mealtimes are hard enough without fighting your dinnerware too.
