Old wives tales say all that pregnancy heartburn means baby will arrive with a head full of hair. 🤔

Well, I’m not certain that one is true, but what I can be certain of is when I spot those little white spiky lines around baby’s head — they’ve already got hair!

It’s such a cute detail to point out, especially when you’ve spent months hearing the old wives’ tale and wondering if there might actually be something to it.

You spend so much of pregnancy wondering what your baby will look like. So, getting such a clear glimpse before they arrive can make the wait feel that little bit easier, because you already have a face to picture when you imagine finally meeting them. 🥹

By the time they’re in your arms, some of those features can already feel so familiar.

There is something incredibly moving about watching a dad see his baby clearly on the screen. 🤍

I often look across and see the biggest smile taking over, or his eyes beginning to fill when dad sees his little one. You can see how much this baby already means to him.

Well, what did you think I do between scans? 🤔😂

I had some time before my next mumma arrived, so thought I’d better make sure the ultrasound machine was working properly.

Naturally, the only way to complete such an important inspection was to check for myself. 🕵️‍♀️

Happy to report the machine passed, and ready to welcome my next mumma into the studio for some special time with her baby. ✨

At around 28 weeks, your baby’s face is filling out, and their movements may be feeling stronger. During your scan, you might see them stretching or bringing a hand towards their face. 🥹

This is such a lovely stage for a 5D Bonding Scan. Seeing your baby’s face appear on screen can make them feel so familiar before you’re holding them in your arms.

Bonding Scans are available up to 36 weeks. For the clearest 5D facial images, I recommend booking between 24 and 32 weeks.

Seeing your baby’s face in 5D can feel like finally recognising the face your heart already knows. 🥹

At 25 weeks, the familiar black-and-white 2D image gave this family a precious glimpse of their baby.

When they returned at 28 weeks, 5D brought depth and incredible detail to the screen. They soaked in their baby’s features and watched every movement, sitting together in awe of the life they have created.
