Keep the memories. Exchange the rest. 🤍
This is something I’ve actually been really intentional about with my own daughter’s wardrobe too.
It would be SO easy for me to keep everything she’s ever worn because “maybe one day” we’ll need it again. But if I did that, I’d probably have close to 10 boxes already — one for every month of her little life 😂
Instead, I’ve chosen to keep the pieces that genuinely mean the most to me. The coming-home outfits, special little pieces, favourites that hold a memory… those stay. 🤍
But the everyday clothes? I’d rather see another little one wearing and loving them now.
Because if we do have another baby one day, there’s no guarantee they’ll be in the same size during the same season. Styles will change, my taste might change, and there will probably be beautiful new pieces I’d rather choose then.
That’s one of the things I love most about our exchange system.
Your credits don’t expire. So instead of storing boxes and boxes of clothes you might need one day, you can exchange them while they’re still current and in great condition — and keep the value for when you actually need it.
Of course, keep those sentimental pieces. I absolutely do. 🥹
But maybe we don’t need to keep everything.
Keep the memories. Exchange the rest. 🤍
