In between chasing down stock shipments for our current bouldering pants line (the less fun part of this business 😅), we’ve pretty much nailed the next iteration of your fave product. And, yes, the men’s Keg Leg 2.0 fit will get the new purple fabric too 💜 TBH, we’re not sure it’ll sell to guys in this wild colour, so we’re only going to release a few hundred pairs in the first instance, and we’ll see how they go.

What’s changed in v2?
- Slightly wider cut at the knees
- More taper at the ankle hem
- 0.8” longer at ankle hem
- New fabric profile (less polyester, even more cotton!)
- More colors (additional deets on this coming soon)
- Some funky embroidered details 🧵

These launch in August 🚀

Some extra deets on the incoming women’s Keg Leg bouldering pant 👖Thanks also to all the senders who’ve expressed interest via the webform in testing these 🙌🏼 The first batch is inbound right now 🚢 We’ve made more changes to the original than we anticipated, but it will mean a seriously good outcome for the girl climbers, with new fabric and a completely different fitment table 📏 The new men’s version is currently getting mocked up and will follow close behind 🧗‍♂️

𝗚𝗜𝗥𝗟 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦!!! 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱!! And yes, they’re bad phone flash pics (sorry 🙈) but this is Belle in the new women’s Keg Leg in lavender 💜 We are reallyyyy trying to drop the plastic content in the v2.0 pant even further… but honestly, it’s very hard to run a pure-organic fit and for it to not tear up from rock abrasions 😭 So: we’re looking for a handful of girl climbers to take some samples into the wild and basically thrash them to pieces 😂 That means all kinds of climbing, washing and general bombing around. We’re not looking for “influencers” - just people who know what good looks and feels like, and will give us a few honest thoughts on the final product before we send it out into the wild en masse. Please comment below if you’re keen and we’ll follow up ASAP 🙏

You can get some boring active wear for your kids to climb in - or you can rock these 🤘🏼 We’re a bit delayed with getting them live (still waiting on our latest container of stock 😮‍💨) but they’ll be up in June. This is Aston crushing 🔝

Microsenders gear in its element, sending outdoors with and being properly put to the test 🪨

No doubt further inspired by Australia’s first bouldering 🥇 medal over the weekend, Alby is one of the country’s top young climbers, regularly showing the adults how it’s done ☑️

A desire and commitment to supporting the promising youth in our sport was one of the key motivations behind the brand. It’s exciting and inspiring to see the sport grow, and we’ll be sharing a lot more Microsenders content over the coming weeks.

This is our ultra-wide-legged Sh**un pant, paired with a couple of our incoming sports bras - the whole lot drops next month 💛 The pants are a “love ‘em or hate ‘em” fit, we think! We feel they’re best paired with a tighter-fitting top, just to not go too wild on the overall baggyness… but you do you 😇 Sh**un uses really thick 300gsm fabric, and has proven quite durable outdoors. We’ve worked hard on the price point for this one, and it’ll debut at under 100USD 🫶🏼

Are you a love em or hate em?! Let us know!!! We have thick 300gsm skin too 😅

All our women’s gear is beginning to drop in readiness for full launch next month 💥 We have chosen some really cool fabrics for the sports bras, giving you the option of subtle shades or some crazier stuff, like this electric green 💚⚡️This style is often really thin and not very durable - we’ve switched that up, with solid 240gsm fabric used, along with high-density integrated foam padding 🧗 There is SO much in the women’s line up, but let us know what else you’d like to see

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀! Product sizing is hard to get right - especially for pants, where waists and leg lengths form an infinite number of combinations 🥵

Given we’re fielding so many fitment enquiries, we thought this guide would help a lot. We’ve also thrown in some of the original requirements checklist from the product development last year - this gives a flavour of what we set out to achieve with the Keg Leg.

And if product sizing is hard, creating a climbing pant that is genuinely unique is even harder: there is a sea of trumped-up parachute pants doing the rounds, and honestly, they do look cool and genuinely fit well (we tried most of them!), but they don’t last for outdoor climbing ⛰️ Getting the materials right is really difficult: too much polyester and they’re trash for the environment, breathability and suppleness; too much cotton, though, and they’re not great if they get damp and they become more susceptible to tearing. We think we got this part pretty nailed.

The women’s version is coming - we promise - but it has to follow the same process of testing, so we’ll only release it when it’s perfect, proven, and climber-appropriate.

Any questions on the fitment or product help you need, here’s where to ask 👇🏼👖

Some of the wild of Kunanyi (Mt Wellington) above Hobart in Tasmania 🇦🇺 If you’re willing to scramble and drag the mats around for hours (as well as prop them in some sketchy positions!), there are thousands of complex routes and highballs, spanning every grade. And thousands of those routes are still awaiting their first ascents.

The rock is an incredibly high-quality and resilient dolerite, which is some 175 million years old. Sadly, a relatively limited outdoor bouldering scene means you’re unlikely to encounter many fellow senders… sometimes, though, for a day out climbing as a family, this can be a blessing ✌🏽

We’ve had loads of fun designing the t-shirt line. They’re all meant to be a bit bold and playful, and something of a conversation starter - the latter plan seems to be paying off, too! Wide Load Climbing Club (this graphic was a joy to create!) and Bad Beta are the bestsellers by miles. This line uses direct-to-film (DTF) printing, so the colours are especially vibrant and strong. Some of the other lines use direct-to-garment (DTG), which is generally more durable over the long haul, but doesn’t quite give the same pop of colour. Think of DTF as a like a “sticker” on the fabric and DTG as more of a tattoo into the fabric’s fibres. We’re making our way through the website updating all the info you need. Remember, too, these sizes are pretty “big fit” oriented, with even a larger 6ft male typically preferring an S or M size.

The next line to drop is slimmer fitting and more simply designed, intended for those who want a quieter aesthetic (we listened!)! As always, we have really worked on the quality - everything is at least 300gsm fabric, which is at least 50% thicker than what you’re used to. This helps reduce shrink, but also means it just sits nicer on the body and actually lasts the test of time.

If you have any crazy ideas for T-shirt designs, we’ll bring them to life, just for a bit of fun!
