Over the past few years, it has been such an honour to be invited by  to create a new set of traditional Holy Communion gowns for their Year 4 students.

There is something so beautiful about seeing all the children dressed alike, united with their classmates in the same gown.
It’s a tradition that goes back generations — even to when I attended the same school as a child.

In the Maronite Catholic tradition, the white robe worn for First Holy Communion symbolises purity, new life in Christ, and the joy of receiving the Eucharist for the very first time. Over time, the traditional robe has become both a liturgical symbol and a cherished cultural tradition passed down through generations.

Congratulations to Year 4 on receiving your First Holy Communion. May God bless you all on this special day. ✨
