Well that four weeks just flew by….our renovations are chugging along and the website is in “pause “ mode for the next little while….you can still browse the store, but won’t be able to check out….if you need anything you can message me directly….Im starting another of these cardigans afresh after using a non compatible yarn for the one shown…it stretched way beyond sensibility and has no recovery at all…I really should have worked that out before completing it, but I’ve been more focused on choosing paint colours…cross your fingers this one is a better version!

Easter is sneaking up pretty close, and I have these bilby dresses reduced to clear at $25 in the store (link in bio)…they’re just older stock that I’m trying to clear, so an absolute bargain….

There’s a few changes happening here soon…Il be pausing the leothefox online store in a few weeks…items can still be purchased through there until mid March, and after that through my page…I am hoping to clear the majority of stock before then, as I will be sharing my workshop space with the rest of the household while we renovate our home…in the near future I will be sharing pictures of what stock is remaining, so hopefully you can help me reduce my shelves…

My first yarn project for 2026…using up my wool oddments in a scrap blanket…the pattern is called the Dune blanket by Attic 24…

I’m thinking a photoshoot at dinner time on a Friday afternoon was a big challenge…but the girls are always happy to help….Modelling the Annie dress I pattern tested for …it’s such a pretty sundress for this time of year, but would be also a fabulous option for layering with a top and leggings in the cooler months. I’m already planning on making heaps more!

Testing…Testing…1..2..3! Started early this morning to test a pattern for It’s the first time I’ve put my hand up to do this, so I’m pretty chuffed to be selected…and just wait until they see my models!

Just a peek at my sewing for this week…definitely a print for the purple fans….as you can see, they were given a tick of approval from the granddaughters….and by that I mean the little one wanted to wear it to bed!…there is enough fabric to make another dress if anyone fancies a quick little custom order?…just pop me a message through and we can sort it out?….

How’s your New Year going? This photo pretty much sums up mine so far….I’ve been spending my days just ‘smelling the flowers’ and giving myself time to ponder new projects…crochet wise…I’m planning to get ahead (lol) with beanies and have some blankets I’d like to start….sewing is going to take a bit longer as my workshop needs more maintenance but I’ll definitely get there….feel free to pass by the website and help me clear some stock so I’m motivated to make some more…..

Wishing all my followers a Happy New Year and an excellent 2026! 🥳….
2025 was challenging both personally and leothefox wise….putting my business aside to care for mum in her final months was crushing in what was a devastating year for many small businesses….I’m still trying to decide if I should ‘pick up the pieces’ or just finish up….I did manage to squeeze in a few custom orders and make the grandchildren their Christmas outfits…I’m a little biased, but aren’t they cute?…also, the website is still open for your shopping pleasure with most items marked down….

My business comeback hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing….theres a lot of factors…hence the lack of posting….although… this brother/sister combo was a huge hit…this little pair of party animals have already been to some early celebrations…note the extra photos of my pattern placement and matching on the shirt pocket….also, the store is still open if you care to check it out? …… 🇦🇺
