Would you like to learn to sew using a domestic sewing machine? Join us at the Hahndorf Seamstress workshop in a friendly, small group setting to learn how to use a sewing machine and get started on a project. All materials provided, training machines available to use or bring your own. Suitable for people of all ages (children over 10 years) and abilities. If you have previously learnt a little, but now want to really get into it, this workshop will relaunch your skills. This workshop provides tailored one on one mentoring and support to all participants.

Introduction to sewing using a domestic sewing machine. Bring your own machine or use a training machine provided.

Hemmed bridal dress by removing many individual pieces of lace and using them to embellish the veil. Bride visited me to show the wedding photos, so gorgeous! So nice to see the results of many hours of intricate work

2021 dressmaking projects completed and work in progress (blue lace gown). Red dress in soft fine silk, olive dress in premium linen, comfy pants in amazingly beautiful silky Lithuanian linen (from The Drapery) and heavy blue lace dress with vintage Italian silky lining. A pleasure to work with beautiful fabrics and great designs based clients favourite styles.

This custom dress was finally able to be worn for a 2020 year 12 formal last night! Many hours of hard work to get the perfect fit attracted a best dressed award, no doubt resulting from the elegant and glamorous demeanour of the wearer.
