Well howdy y'all, long time no post 👋😆

So today was shamefully the first time I sat down at my sewing machine since I moved north back in January 😬 But it was all for a great cause, I had the go-ahead to put together some sweet new book-themed cushions for my library 🥰

Check out how they turned out...I love them! Super big (60x60cm), super comfy and super snazzy for the kids to enjoy in a cozy corner with a book 📚🤓

I hope they will love them as much as I do! And one of the best bits...there's enough fabric left to make some matching book bags 🥳😆

10 days and counting....⏰

You may or may not have heard, but I'm about to relocate from Newcastle to the Northern Tablelands of NSW. Very exciting! 🥰

This means that KK is also making the move to new digs and, as you can see, will be temporarily out of action while I make the move over the next couple of weeks.

But aside from this, nothing will change in terms of KK operations...in fact, I'll have a more spacious set up meaning more time spent getting crafty!🧵🥳

Hope you've all had a brilliant start to the new year, and staying safe wherever you are.

I sure am looking forward to getting settled and back into things as per normal (whatever normal is these days).

Sometimes it's the small things in life... 😆🥰

This has been on my to-do list for yonks, and in the end it took me just a couple of minutes to whip up haha.

I hate single-use plastic with a passion, including those little plastic tissue packets, but needed something to hold tissues in my bag for when I'm out and about.

So voila! An itty bitty reusable tissue holder 😁♻️

Little actions & alternatives make all the difference in doing our best for the future of the planet...what other green alternatives do you use & love??

Something new, something different, something unuuuuusual!

I've been wanting to give this one a go for yonks, and finally school holidays have allowed me to get it done!

Stoked with how my macrame yoga mat carrier turned out, and after its first tried and tested run to yoga class I'm suuuper happy! 😁
