Andrea’s Story

I was pretty handy with a sewing machine during my high school years and made, what I thought were, some cool outfits. Fast forward quite a few years and here I am with a boutique in South Yarra selling amazing clothes to amazing women.

The majority of these amazing clothes are by Jarbo - a US designer. There really isn't anything in Australia that compares to the quality and clean lines of these sophisticated designs. Since opening I've discovered other designers with the same aesthetic and attention to detail. These include Italian designer, Asciari, and a local Melbourne designer, Feng Feng Wang.

Sometimes we need a little push to try things outside our comfort zone - I guess that makes me pushy. I love seeing new outfits come together and for women to find a style in which they feel comfortable and confident.

I've worked in fashion retail for more than 10 years, mostly in the US. And I've come to the conclusion that there's no "right" style. It's our way of showing our individuality. My personal style ranges from wanna-be biker chick to understated classic chic. Monochromatic colour schemes are one of my favourite styles as it always looks sophisticated.
