Hi everyone, it's been a long few months since I put up a post, mainly due to Spring/Summer where no one wants to think of beanies in Australia 🥵.

As we welcome Autumn and more cooler weather, Handmade Pop Beanies is back to add more colour and style to your winter headwear and support underprivileged girls and women in remote areas of Kenya by providing biodegradable reusable sanitary pads which last for 2 years through Together for Better . The donated pads help girls attend school and enable women to continue working to support their families during their menstrual cycles thus providing education and empowerment to their families and communities.

All the beanies are handmade by myself and can be customised to your size and colour choices and posted Australia wide for additional cost. Cost of beanies range from $20 to $30 depending on size.

All proceeds are donated to the foundation who stitch and distribute the pads, each pad kits costs $10 and contains 6 pads which is donated to one girl to last a full period cycle.

This year the foundation would like to reach 10,000 girls and I hope we can be a small part of that goal. I look forward to making more beautiful beanies this year and thank you for your support. A glimpse of new colours this season.

As we approach the last month of winter, everyone will be looking forward to the warmer days ahead but the need for sanitary pads never stops so since Father's Day is just around the corner, gift your Dad, Grandpa or Special Male in your life a handmade beanie which they can wear for next winter and knowing you have made a difference in someone's life during their menstruation cycle and keeping underprivileged girls in school😊.

It is always a great joy for me to create matching beanies for parents and their kids because through these beanies I hope they can initiate a conversation on Periods 🩸 and create awareness of the issues girls and women face in underprivileged communities and wear them knowing they have helped make someone's life a little more comfortable during their menstruation cycle.
