Our mission is to invigorate community clubs with fresh appeal by introducing people who wouldn't usually go to a community club via our lifestyle markets. Too many of these great clubs are closing through lack of interest, we want to put them back on the map and give them a new lease of life. Hawthorne market takes place on the first and third Friday of each month at The Morningside Panthers in t
he middle of Hawthorne Park. In July we launched our second Love Your Local Markets - Coorparoo 'Off The Green' which will run on the first Sunday each month 12 - 6pm at Coorparoo Bowls Club, 32 Riddings Rd. Friday 22 August saw us launch Love Your Local Norman Park at Norman Park Bowls Club - the plan is that this will return on the fourth Friday of each month, subject to Council approval. Next up is Cannon Hill Bowls Club by the end of the year. Stalls include street food, coffee, vintage, hand crafted designs, homeware, kids fashion and much more. The market caters well for kids and will offer live music, entertainment and activities to ensure there's something of interest for everyone. All venues have a licensed bar on site for a cold drink at the end of a long week. We regret no BYO due to our licensing restrictions - thank you.
