What a wonderful group of creative ladies!

Recently, I did a little maths and realised something quite special. Six years ago, during COVID, I took a deep dive into the magic of indigo, Katazome and Shibori. I never imagined that I would go on to share Katazome (rice-paste resist dyeing) with more than 1,800 participants and welcome over 2,000 people to Shibori workshops.

The numbers are amazing, but what I love most is that every workshop is different. Each participant brings their own ideas and creativity, resulting in unique designs and beautiful surprises every time.

Watching these creations come to life never gets old. Thank you to everyone who has joined me on this indigo-filled journey. 💙

During COVID, I discovered the joy of Danish cord weaving and quickly fell in love with its simple, repetitive rhythm. There's something incredibly satisfying about transforming a spool of cord into a beautiful piece of functional furniture.
This small-group workshop is an opportunity to learn a traditional craft, develop a new skill, and enjoy a few hours of mindful creativity. The weaving process is relaxing and meditative, making it the perfect escape from our busy lives. By the end of the day, you'll take home a beautifully woven thinking stool and the confidence to continue exploring this remarkable craft.

I just wanted to share Kate’s lovely feedback. I’m absolutely chuffed with her kind words 💛 Kate made a beeline for my new wattle seedpod design, something I have been had in my head for a long long time. I have to walk away when participants are looking at my different designs so I dont dominate their choice or freewill 🤣 Its always a joy watching the designs come to life and used in the real world (outside of my head... )
