A very particular approach to stallholder selection ensures that while exhibitors are vastly different in almost every way, they all have a common thread: creative talent, a demonstrated integrity in their business ethos and original thought in their design process. the market was started by Shannon Robertson & Holly Webber, who were committed in their mission to unearth and show off Tasmania’s veritable web of undiscovered talent, world-class products and the intriguing stories and inspiration behind the commercial reality of small scale designers and makers. Shannon & Holly curated their last market Xmas 2016. From 2017 the market is curated by Felicity Dawson who is following on with the same mission in mind. Felicity has worked as a designer and maker (both knitting and sewing), patternmaker, book editor, author, librarian, and spent many years in the film industry and advertising, doing everything from finding locations, continuity, producing, to designing and making costumes. These experiences contribute to her understanding the complexities of life as an artisan She is committed to encourage and support talented and skilled people.
