Kinda chic that everyone said women’s cycling was too niche.
Kinda chic that this week the Tour de France Femmes is being watched by millions.
Kinda chic that café bike racks are starting to look less like a MAMIL convention.
Kinda chic that the “niche” turned out to be cycling’s biggest growth story.

Kinda chic that we built Muze anyway.

The Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift is almost here... which means we’re emotionally back in 2022. 💛

A few days in France somehow included...

🇫🇷 Riding the Champs-Élysées before the race.
🥐 Taking our almond croissant research very seriously.
🎤 Being interviewed in French despite speaking approximately three words.
🚴 Riding between stages.
🎨 Painting the roads.
😂 Descending into complete group delirium by day five.
😭 And the inevitable post-France comedown.

And of course seeing this iconic event come to life for the first time.

The best part? Sharing it all with the incredible InternationElles, many of whom had helped fight to bring the Tour de France Femmes Avec Zwift back in the first place.

Some trips are holidays.
Some become core memories.
This one was definitely the latter. 💛

3 days and counting til Stage 1 1027!

Once upon a time, the biggest race in cycling forgot half the peloton. 🏰

For decades, women’s Tours appeared... disappeared... and started all over again.

But the rebels refused to disappear.
The riders kept racing.
The journalists kept writing.
The fans kept watching.
The campaigners kept pushing.

And partners like Zwift backed the biggest comeback in women’s cycling.

The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift isn’t the happily ever after, it’s just the beginning.

Now it’s our turn.

Watch it. Talk about it. Share it. Support the brands investing in women’s cycling.

Because every view helps make sure this fairytale never becomes history again.

Starting this Saturday!

One of the biggest lessons growing Muze?

When I launched, I thought I’d sell more Size 6 and 8. That’s what the cycling industry largely reflected, so I bought accordingly.

Despite what my gut (and the statistics) told me, I let the picture shape my thinking. The reality was very different.

The average Australian woman is a size 14, and from day one our customers have reminded me that women who ride don’t fit one mould.

Our kit has gone to beginners and racers. Commuters and triathletes. Women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond. Across every size in our range.

And that’s become one of my favourite lessons from building Muze.

Build for the women who ride.
Not the stereotype. ❤️

I’ve ridden races, fondos and endurance events.

But I’d never ridden through Sydney at night with a few hundred strangers, a boombox and a disco ball 🪩 📻

The Sydney Bike Rave reminded me why I fell in love with cycling in the first place. No pace to hold. No finish time to chase. Just rolling through the city, watching people spill out of bars and restaurants with huge smiles as we rode past.

As someone building a brand to get more women on bikes, nights like this are pure joy. They prove cycling doesn’t have to look one way.

Sometimes it’s about performance.

Sometimes it’s about adventure.

And sometimes it’s just about riding through the streets at sunset, wondering why we don’t do this more often. 💛

12 months. 12 cycling adventures we’d gather our crew and plan our year around.

From Adelaide to Chiang Mai, Tuscany to Girona, café rides to Grand Tour, here’s the Muze 12 months of Cycling Calendar.

📌 Save it for your next excuse to book a flight.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re just off to become billionaires so we can spend 3 months riding a Euro Summer... or hopefully convince Condé Nast Traveller to call it work.

Some of the best rides happen when everyone else stays inside ❄️

What if your next performance gain wasn’t on the bike?

As cyclists, we’re often told the answer is to ride more. But what if the smarter answer was to replace some of that time with strength training? 🏋️

We’re kicking off The Muze Edit. A new series of expert-led conversations that help women better navigate cycling.

For Episode 1, I sat down with sports scientist and physio Kate Baldwin (Kate Baldwin) to unpack a study that found replacing around 12% of riding with just three 20-minute strength sessions each week had a massive effect.

This reel is just the headline.

📖 Wednesday: We’ll break down the study, the numbers and what they actually mean in a simple, save-worthy carousel.

📩 Thursday: Muze Insider subscribers will receive the full breakdown, practical takeaways and additional resources from Kate straight to their inbox.

Question for you: How often do you include strength training in your week? 👇
