An update for Piccolo Poompi that’s a little sad to share 🤍
I’ve felt this coming for a while now but it wasn’t until a recent minor health hiccup during this pregnancy that the decision to close our store was made.
Truth is, I’m just not hungry for the social, busy, chaotic life anymore while in the thick of growing our family & this season of life we’re in. I’m okay with being at home & spending my days chasing little feet around all day, because childhood already isn’t long enough & I’m no longer trying to juggle so many hats that I miss out on anything with my kids.
I’m not entirely off the hook anyways, Aidan’s already got me a list a mile long of work to do with AKG, but I can do all that from home- in my PJ’s, sipping an empty cup from Reed’s toy coffee machine while he chats my ear off about the constant tractors driving past outside. That work fits perfectly into my home life already, so I guess I can make time for it & him.
We’ve loved our season of owning & running Piccolo Poompi, it’s been truly the best rainbow store to have & live the retail world in. It’s shaped us in so many ways as people, business owners & partners, I’ve loved being apart of yours, your kiddies & your families lives through the gorgeous clothing, thoughtful gifts & beautiful pieces for your home we stocked.
Our last day of trade is actually sooner than you think, this Saturday while SAHN markets are on outside, I’m bringing our racks to the street front so you can shop as easily as possible before it’s all gone for good from Ingham.
We hope we see as many of you as possible Saturday morning for a final goodbye to the rainbow store on Lannercost Street 🥹
Any stock left will remain online via our website for the next 2 weeks & in JK’s Deli on shelves until sold out.
