My love affair with hand made!
Hello there, I’m Kristy! I have a self confessed obsession with all things craft and handmade; I mean who doesn’t love a beautifully thought out gift that someone has created with their own hands? I also love colour and eclectic one off pieces, and have always loved purses and bags. Just last year I longed for a unique purse, something that was functional but also beautiful. Having been a crafter from an early age, I figured I might as well have a go at making one for myself. And that folks, is how this show got started..
I absolutely love working with repurposed pieces, custom and cork fabrics (vegan leather) to make stunning unique, one of a kind creations (that in all honesty, I often want to keep for myself!). I love creating on the sewing machine and seeing the joy from someone who falls in love with something I have made, it genuinely brings me so much joy!
When I am not sewing up a storm, I’m at work full time for a local mining company and loving/being loved my partner in crime, Steve, and our four beautiful children and doggo, Pippa.
