🫧 Welcome to our Slime Sistas Page 🫧We are 2 sisters aged 8 and 10 who have mastered the science of slime-making!
We LOVE making slime and sharing the joy of slime but, Mum said we need to start selling it to pay for materials 😆
So, we took on the challenge and got busy, starting at the Dampier Beachside Markets. Our slime sold out and several people missed out, so we have now set up our page so you can skip the queue and order your slime directly from us via messenger.
We have been busy in the lab, *formerly known as Mum's kitchen table, bustin' out the fluffiest, stretchiest, dreamiest slimes that you'll absolutely love (parents not so much, sorry).
Since most kids aren't on Facebook, I suppose I'm talking to you, the adults. Hi I'm Bec, the Mum you're probably going to hate... at first... adults generally hate slime and all those who responsible.
I totally get it.
So let's have a talk.
SLIME!! ARRRGH!! HECK NO!! WHYYYY?!
It's a nightmare am I right?! Don't worry, we've had a few mishaps and I swore never to let the devil's mucus back into our home EVER AGAIN. But, here we are. After all the pestering and me feeling like a killjoy, I caved. BUT.... we set some SERIOUS ground rules this time and the kids have become pretty good at keeping the stuff from being a pain.
So, before you say NO to slime, because of the time little Suzy got it stuck in her hair and now sports a mullet, or that time little Johnny spread it on the carpet and now your loungeroom looks like a smurf village massacre.. hear me out.
You NEED to set rules, like a contract of purchase. They break em, they lose slime privileges. Be VERY STRICT with those rules, put the jar up high so they have to ask for permission to play, no slime on playdates, hide it from baby Jake etc Make them sign a contract if you must!
Once you've done the groundwork, I promise it will be okay. It is worth it and it gives your kids and chance to be responsible. It also gets them off the ipads while their little hands and fingers are building strength, their brains are pondering and they get to enjoy some sensory play which is worth it's weight in gold.
Plus, you are supporting the dreams of 2 little entrepreneurs at the start of their vocational journey.
