High Esteem Punk Created in 2017 High Esteem Punk is the brain child of Mark Plews.

Having been in the industry for 20+ years working for other people he finally decided to branch out and create his own brand and business. Created by Mark Plews, High Esteem Punk is the sister brand to his other creation the Gambesonian. Whereas the Gambesonian deals with protective sports wear for contact sports, High Esteem Punk is his creative outlet where he produces custom costumes, and high end coats, jackets and accessories.

This belongs to a cellist who let the luggage chuckers at the airport rough up her luggage. Yep, broken strap. Ta-dah! I’ve fixed it. It’s amazing what an industrial sewing machine can punch through. If you have any heavy duty sewing that needs doing (luggage, tents, jeans, saddlery) drop me a line. I’d be happy to take a look.

A long time ago, whilst we were a part of Arcade Alchemy at Adelaide Arcade, I made an overcoat for a customer. He sent photos of himself wearing the finished product, but I don't know what happened to them, so I can't post 'em. I hardly ever remember to take photos when I'm making things, coz I'm busy making the thing. I'll ask the boss.

I probably should have posted these ages ago. Witches hats! I have velour in a few witchy colours but the real point is (geddit? pointy!) that I make mine with an inner of Ripstop PVC so they are waterproof, and the brim is wide enough to cover the shoulders...and here's a picture. Yep, there's a witch under there.
They don't have to be this tall, but I think overkill is just enough, don't you?

This month we saw the MC50, with Billy Gould in bass, Airbourne, and Alice Cooper, some of my favourite songs played live at the Carole King musical, three new to us national parks, fig picking, blow up room thingy, Austen tayshus, uni started, heart checked, Holden died, motzart's Requiem, q&a and Tim Minchin gig. And I'm in a Pratchett play, 4 speaking roles. And nothing happens I Adelaide, I'm told. @ Adelaide, South Australia

Last weekend we got dressed in our High Esteem Punk finery and trotted down to Port Adelaide to have a photo shoot with Cynthia and Sam from The Tintype Traveller.
We were allowed to watch Cynthia develop the exposed plates and see the magic happen!
Can't wait to see the digital copies.
