We are super excited to help kit out local legend Julie Brock as she prepares to run all the way from the West Coast to the East Coast of Australia!

A huge shoutout also to for stepping up with the support to keep her fueled for the road ahead.

Julie’s target is completing this ultimate challenge in 60 days to celebrate her 60th year on this planet!

We’ll be sending her off with a shiny new pair of shoes next week, and we’ll be tracking her entire journey all the way to Bondi Beach.

Throwback to 1979... The is just a little bit older than us… It kicked off in 1971, and we’ve been keeping local runners moving since 1978!

Anyone remember when the race day game plan was simply: "Just meet up at the van after the finish line!"? 😂

We’re going all the way back to 1979 for this incredible post race shot featuring the very first edition of the official Talays Runners Shop race strip! And 1983 1st of 4 City to Surf wins for champion Andy Lloyd ..........sporting the Talays Runners Shop singlet.

We’ve got most of the legends in this lineup locked in - but we need your help to fill in the blanks:

Danny Boltz, Bob Talay, Brian Morgan, Wayne Brennan, (Corey Blank?), Andy Lloyd, Dave Brennan, (Blank?).

Anyone remember these two runners on the right? Tag a mate who was running back in ’79 or help us identify them in the comments!

It was great to have coaches Warren and Jordan pop into the shop today — and with the ASICS Novablast 6 officially released today, Jordan couldn’t resist grabbing himself a pair!
