The empty Leavers rack hit the window today and it will be filled up every day this week with three fabulous fashions. From Dark Elegance to Sassy/Cute, we hope to showcase some alternatives to the large price tags we’ve been hearing parents are paying. The Rack hits on Saturday 11th July at 12 pm.
If you’re decluttering and have a leavers or evening dress languishing in your cupboard, this would be a great time to donate it. Donations can be dropped to Shirly (Penguin in Pink) in Penguin or to the shop in Latrobe opposite Banjo’s. Thank you for your support as always! Cheers Denise and Shirly.

Two lovely drops today.
A vintage Geccu Uluṟu merino wool unisex jumper in size 2X valued at $399 but not now. A BNWT Cable of Melbourne Olive Skirt in XL arrived . The original price was $245 but not now and it is is paired with a cream shirt and faux leather vest. We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 4 pm opposite Banjos in Latrobe.

Update the Collingwood books are gone 🙂
Do you have a football lover in your house? Are they named Peter? We have just received a lovely donation of a number of books, some personally signed “To Peter from ….”.
Whilst we don’t charge for books as we believe reading should be free, we’re happy to accept any token donation to Penguin in Pink for these. The books are on the steps inside the shop near the rocking chair. Ideal Fathers Day special present especially for anyone called Peter lol!

We have a slight space problem in store with our awesome boot drop so have had to delay bringing out our leavers try on rack until Saturday 11 July. We will release it at 12pm . We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to promoting some slow fashion alternatives to the price tags we hear parents are paying!

Today we welcomed Calvin to the growing team of Fashion Treadmill volunteers. Calvin will be joining us on Wednesday afternoon for a few hours. Today he steamed, swept and got his first attempt at visual merchandising. The awesome Dorothy updated red shoes and socks were created by Calvin as we advertised the Latrobe Federal Band Broadway Musicals concert on Sunday in our window.
