LET’S CHAT MARKS!
There are two very common spots you may notice on your embroidery after we’ve decorated it for you.
The first one is called hoop burn, which you might see around your embroidery where the hoop has been. This is really common - particularly in the bigger logos which are more commonly on the back.
The second is a small white + in the middle of your design. This is chalk, which we use to measure and mark out the centre of your design. This helps us get the logo straight and aligned, and also when we’re doing multiple pieces so that they are all the same.
Whilst both marks are unpreventable (and can be alarming if you don’t know what they are or how to get rid of them!) they’re very easy to remove. Pop your pieces in the wash and they’ll come straight out. If you’re not one to wash before the first wear (I’m not here to judge!) you can dab or wipe the chalk mark with a damp rag and it’ll come straight off!
