📲 Time to Update: New Firmware for Your EB2 or VM1 Brake Controller!

At Elecbrakes, our team is always working on ways to improve our products so you get the best possible performance, reliability, and safety every time you hit the road.

With that in mind, we’ve released a new version of the Elecbrakes App alongside an over-the-air (OTA) firmware update for our EB2 and VM1 brake controllers. This release introduces enhancements to the system's wireless communication framework.

What you need to do now:
1️⃣ Update to the latest version of the Elecbrakes App via the App Store or Google Play Store.
2️⃣ Connect your smartphone to your EB2 or VM1 brake controller.
3️⃣ Follow the prompts to update the firmware - it only takes a few minutes!

This will ensure your system is fully updated before your next adventure!

Looking back on Brandon's Rising Star Award win at last year's Hunter Manufacturing Awards, we're incredibly proud of everything he's achieved and the innovation he continues to bring to Elecbrakes.

The Rising Star Award recognises emerging talent early in their career who are already making a real impact in manufacturing through leadership, resilience, innovation, and a commitment to growth.

Last year, Brandon Lane of took out the HMA2025 Rising Star Award for his outstanding contribution to product innovation and manufacturing excellence.

Here's a look back at why he was recognised.

Joining Elecbrakes as a university graduate, Brandon quickly became a key contributor to the business, leading the redesign of the company's flagship product by introducing NFC functionality to enhance diagnostics and user experience.
