I’m a little late with this one, but better late than never.
Sharni was married last September and sent me these lovely images from their day.
I worked on Sharni’s dress downsizing the corset top and working on the fit so it sat correctly and was the right size for her. She had a very full over skirt with stiffening around the hemline and multiple skirt layers that were hemmed to length also.
Thanks for allowing me to assist you with your wedding preparations Sharni, it looks like you had an amazing day. I hope married life is treating you well.

Happy 2026 🎉

Something I want to concentrate on this year is keeping up regular posts in my feed here.
Starting things off with gorgeous Jade at her Bali wedding last month.
I worked on her dress to get a custom fit as it was just too loose all over and too long. I also added a bustle to the long train so the couple could perform their spectacular dance routine as seen in the photos!

Vintage lace repairs.
Working on a vintage wedding gown, bringing it back to pristine condition - only wish I took a picture before I washed it! I thought it was a dark cream but turned out it was a light ivory colour.
Fixed the largest tears, there are a few more holes to go but only small compared to these.
Let me know if the comments if you would like to see the finished gown once the repairs are done

So I’ve been very busy these last few months working on something amazing - my own studio!

My partner and I recently purchased a property in Littlehampton in the Adelaide Hills, and I’m going to have my own space to work in independent of the house.

Like any renovation, it’s taken longer than I hoped it would, but hitting the home straits now.

I’ve had a few clients through already and once I’m up and running in the next week, I’ll be ready to take on the world.

Here’s a few progress shots. I worked the whole colour scheme around the wall mural which I absolutely love and I hope you all will too 😊

Recently I worked on this beautiful dress, getting it ready for Renee to wear at her wedding early April this year.

The dress is a bias cut with shoestring straps and a low draped back. Bias cut dresses can be tricky in their simplicity - there's not many seams to work with and the fit needs to be spot on to hang perfectly - not too loose and not too tight - they should just skim the outline of the body.

Renees's dress was a bit too loose in places and it needed a little fitting around the bust. I also moved the straps in slightly to keep them sitting on her shoulders and not sliding off, and of course, hemmed to length. Nothing crazy, but neccessary to have the dress fit perfectly.

I also helped out with a couple of the bridesmaids dresses - online orders can throw a few unexpected surprises but all ended well.

Thank you Renee for trusting me with your dress. You all look amazing and I hope your day has left you with many happy memories.

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of working with Suzie on a custom made dress for her wedding.

Suzie had been unable to find just what she was looking for to purchase ready made, so we worked together, putting all the features she loved into one dress that was tailored to her personal measurements rather than an off the rack “ one size fits all”.

The dress fabric had a matt finish to it with a slight stretch to give a beautifully sculpted silhouette without restricting movement. The sleeves and bodice were created in delicate silk chiffon for a gorgeous sheer effect and beautiful movement.

My favorite part after the wedding is seeing the official photographs and these certainly don’t disappoint. Suzie looks so beautiful and happy and what a gorgeous location in Uraidla, Adelaide Hills.

I recently helped Yvette get her dress wedding ready for a second run when she and her hubby renewed their vows.
As it had been cleaned after their first wedding the dressing had come out of the skirt and it was sitting much flatter than previously. I added a heap of new net petticoats and shortened the hem to a slightly higher length than previously.
