Over the past two days, I have been immersed in preparations for a stunning winter wedding at Plunkett Villa Tamborine, taking place in a few short weeks. The bride and groom envision bold, deep winter hues as the central theme. Based on a concept shared by the bride, who describes herself as non-artistic, I am thrilled that my creation has met her expectations, with feedback indicating that I have successfully captured her vision. Weekday weddings bring out all the feels, and today was one of those days. Family and friends gathered to celebrate the marriage of Mitchell and Deahn at the stunning Plunkett Villa at Tamborine.

Joined by their 4 children and 50 of their nearest and dearest, it was a heartfelt celebration of love, commitment and the bringing together of two families. Glorious sunshine and a very mild breeze made for the perfect weather in the most incredible surroundings, and nothing says “here comes the groom” more than a shiny rig all dressed for the occasion. But the star of the show in equal first to the incredibly beautiful bride, was Mable, the tiny tan coloured Dachshund. It was a day filled with love and ALL of the family, furry and all.

Congratulations again Mitchell and Deahn and thank you for the honor of sealing your love as your celebrant.

For a day of wedding bliss. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of officiating the wedding of a remarkable young couple, high school sweethearts Alaina and Joey, at the stunning Pether's Rainforest Retreat on Tamborine Mountain. In the picturesque wedding garden surrounded by loved ones, the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony that was both personal and intimate. As they walked down the aisle, their nerves were palpable, and Joey's first glimpse of Alaina was truly romantic. It was an honor to marry them, and every moment felt perfectly tailored to the couple. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hamilton and Alaina Hamilton; I am grateful for the trust they placed in me as their celebrant. Pether's Rainforest Retreat
