Both girls got some many complements on their custom gowns, you too can have a one of a kind gown created locally for 2027 formals! Having a gown made from scratch not only suppports a small local business, it saves alteration costs and travel costs to find a gown!

Now taking bookings for my remaining formal places for 2027.

MADDIE | NORTHERN BEACHES HIGH FORMAL 2026

Maddie looked stunning in her custom designed and made ANNA DUTTON COUTURE formal gown on Saturday.

The rich pink and purple was such a stand out, two of my favourite colours.

Maddie's gown featured a structured sweetheart bodice with a gorgeous pink and purple sequin I sourced. The back was closed by hot pink lacing with a modesty panel underneath. The full skirt was worn over a hoop for fullness, the under layer skirt was pink Mikado with a crinoline hem. The top skirt layer was a Glass Satin made on the reverse side and featured pockets.

It was a pleasure working with Maddie to bring her formal gown to life !

Layla looked stunning last night in her custom designed and made ANNA DUTTON COUTURE formal gown for Northern Beaches High Formal.

It was a pleasure to work with the Zammit family again, 5 years ago I also created Layla's older sisters formal gown and took her formal photos.

Layla's gown was created from "Ruby" Satin Back Crepe featuring side panels made from hand dyed Chantilly Lace. Layla came to me with an idea and I brought it to life for her 💃

This is the first time I've done a structured bodice with lace side panels which were lined with n**e tulle. The front skirt was hand draped, a classy front split and a train finished the gown off.

Today I carried out alterations to a bridal gown for next month.

It required removal of the straps, taking in at bodice sides, shortening the front bodice at the waist, closing the side split a little more, 6 layer hem and a train bustle.

My beautiful client Leanne married last week in her custom designed and made ANNA DUTTON COUTURE wedding gown.

The gown was made up of a structured sweet heart bodice featuring hand cut floral motifs which were hand placed by Leanne at her second fitting and hand stitched on by me. The skirt was a full - A-line made of stretch crepe featuring pockets and a front split. I hand stitched covered buttons down the back of the dress to the bottom of the zip. The skirt had a small train with a carry ribbon.

Two sets of detachable straps were created, my favourite was the tulle sleeves with hand cut floral motifs stitched on, a boho lace trim on the shoulder straps and on the stretch crepe cuffs which had covered buttons and loops. I will make a second post showing Leanne's receiption look.

I modified and added a comb to Leanne's veil which was her mothers veil.

I love this unique gown and the time Leanne and I spent working to create the perfect gown for her.
