JOB OPENING ISLAND FEVER

Island Fever is a long standing Magnetic Island business conducting the sale of clothing, souvenirs, footwear, jewellery, etc. in Horseshoe Bay.
The current owners have been in the business for over 20 years and have provided job security for several long term employees over the years.
An opportunity has opened up for a new recruit and we are looking for someone who can work individually and as part of a team.
We have a Casual position, covered by the General Reatil Industry Award Retail Level 1, required for between 2 to 4 days a week that has become available and this will likely include some
weekend work.
Weekdays are 6.5 hours, Weekends are 7.5 hours.
The job is a retail position which requires setting up on opening, selling skills, restocking, rearranging displays, some incidental cleaning of the interior of the premises, and closing at the end of the day.
The days worked would be flexible to suit both the employees and management as required.
Applicants must be honest and trustworthy, have good customer service skills, be self motivated, able to multi-task, and be
competent in using the computerised IDEALPOS point of sale system, EFTPOS, cash sales, end of day reconciliation, etc.
The applicant must have a good work record, have good references and the ability to work alone.
Training will be provided for the most suitable candidate.
There will be a trial period for the chosen applicant.
We would prefer a permanent full time Magnetic Island resident.*
