Sitting on our verandah last night in comfortable chairs we enjoyed watching the moon rise in front of us and the eclipse gradually covering the moon to create the blood moon. The stars were especially beautiful last night although not so many visible as usual due to the brightness of full moon.
Did you manage to see it??

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my Vince 🥂 officially able to retire today.
In case you are wondering who Vince is leaning on, it’s Bad Boy Baz who is in fact the sweetest steer whom we bottle fed when his mum (one of the ‘udder’ girls) rejected him.

Using handspun by me yarn using fibers from my 2025 twelve days of spin advent box. I am really enjoying knitting a Jaunty scarf/shawl which is half fisherman’s rib and is so soft. The Jaunty scarf was designed by and is available as a pdf pattern

What a wonderful day I spent with at the Liberty of London extravaganza in Brisbane. It was a well organized day thanks to . I loved bumping into so many familiar faces xx

I have been collecting Liberty Tana Lawns since the early 80’s so my stash is quite large🤣 needless to say my collection is now a bit larger and I may need to buy a bigger crate to store it all in ❤️
The last picture shows my current EPP project in progress, I am attempting to use as many different prints as possible in this quilt.

We have had a fantastic two days with family celebrating being together and came home to this pretty sky.

a family run farm that are near us are just starting to sell these gorgeous bunches of sunflowers from their cut flower farm 🌻 I bought these yesterday and absolutely love them, they are such happy flowers - these are pollen free so no mess on my bench top to clean up and no hayfever reactions

I love this section of the quilt, it was the first block I designed for this quilt.

I've almost finished quilting my George and the Donkey quilt, designed by Lynette Anderson Designs - I'd completed the quilt top in 2023, and I'd been deliberating over how to quilt it ever since then!
