Owner and operator Milva Carucci brought her passion for dressmaking to life by opening the doors to first what was an alterations business Alterations by MC several years ago. Based in the charming country town of Mareeba, FNQ, Milva experienced first hand the pure frustrating and inconvenience of not finding something to build her wardrobe or something suitable for a special event. So by offering alterations, tailoring and mending services the FNQ was slowly rekindling those loved- well worn favourites and having well-fitted new additions of clothing that was both stylish and flattering. Through word-of-mouth referrals and Milva's dedication to providing a flexible and customised service to suit her clients' needs, including on the day bridal party repairs and emergency alterations, she was being approached by women all over the state to 'make them something special' for an upcoming event. Racewear, Mother's of the bride, bridesmaids, workwear, one off staple wardrobe items, it was becoming apparent that Milva's attention to detail, knowledge and pure love of providing women with a custom piece of amazingness to step into was a sort after affair!
