This Aethera piece transitions beyond simple ornamentation, serving as a wearable talisman structured around classical mythology and the geometry of the triad.
Historically known as the Carbunculus or living fire. The garnet has been used since antiquity by Egyptian, Roman, and Greek civilizations as a stone of protection, vital force, and light in darkness.
In this design, the selection of exactly three garnet beads invokes the ancient power of the triad, representing the complete cycle of time: Past, Present, and Future.
The First Bead honours your origins and guards against past shadows.
The Second Bead represents the present, channeling the garnet’s traditional connection to the vital life force and endurance.
The Third Bead acts as the lantern for the future, illuminating the path ahead.
The deep red stones further mirror the myth of the pomegranate seeds (granatus), symbolizing the necessary, cyclical transitions of life which is the descent, the dormancy, and the inevitable return of light.
