Building this business has always been more than creating period swimwear.

It’s about creating something women and girls can genuinely trust. Something that makes periods feel a little less complicated and everyday life that little bit easier.

As a mum of two daughters, that will always feel personal to me.

Every repeat order, every message from a mum, and every story about a girl who could swim, go on holiday or join in without worrying about her period reminds me why I started.

Quality and customer service will always be non-negotiable, because the trust our customers place in us means everything.

Knowing something we created for our own girls is now making life easier for women and girls everywhere will always be one of the things I’m most proud of. 💕

Watching your kids have the courage to step outside their comfort zone, back themselves and give something a go is such an important part of watching them grow 💕

I’m always telling my girls that you only get out what you’re willing to put in. Show up, work hard, listen, learn and keep trying to get a little bit better each time.

It’s something I’ve had to remind myself of many times while building Azure Belle too.

There are very few overnight successes. Most things worth having are built through small steps, consistency, hard work and having the courage to keep going even when the results aren’t immediate.

As a mum and a founder, I hope my kids grow up knowing they don’t have to be the best straight away. Be brave enough to start, work hard for what you want and trust that all those little improvements eventually add up to something pretty special 💕
