A MOMENT OF REFLECTION. A CAREER OF PASSION. AN HONOUR TO BE RECOGNISED.

After more than two decades immersed in the Australian fashion landscape, I am incredibly honoured to announce my nomination for FASHION STYLIST OF THE YEAR 2026 at the inaugural Melbourne Women in Fashion Long Lunch & Awards.

Fashion has never simply been about the clothes. For me, it has always been about storytelling, creativity, connection and the extraordinary power of personal expression.

From creative directing major runway productions and styling commercial campaigns to celebrity dressing, personal branding and editorial work published across more than 75 countries, my career has taken me on an extraordinary creative journey.

Since founding TITO STYLE, I’ve also had the privilege of styling more than 1,500 private clients, helping women rediscover their confidence, embrace their individuality and recognise the transformative power of style.

Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with remarkable designers, photographers, creatives and industry professionals, while continuing to champion Australian fashion and emerging talent.

2026 has challenged me in ways I could never have anticipated, making this recognition all the more meaningful.

There are moments in a career when you stop, reflect and appreciate just how far you’ve come. This is one of them.

To be recognised amongst my industry peers, within an industry that has shaped so much of my life, is an extraordinary honour. The nomination itself is something I will genuinely treasure.

My heartfelt thanks to those who put my name forward and to Women in Fashion Global for celebrating the women who contribute to our vibrant fashion community.

I look forward to joining fellow nominees and industry leaders this Saturday, 31 October, at Melbourne’s iconic Langham Hotel.

A little behind-the-scenes reality check from Melbourne Fashion Week!

When you’re planning a fashion shoot, you do a location recce. When you’re wearing avant-garde couture? Apparently, you also need to conduct a full mobility assessment. 😂

Currently fitting an extraordinary creation by an emerging Australian designer for Friday’s Student Collections runway.

The verdict? Standing looks spectacular. Sitting is questionable. Getting in and out of a car may require a small production crew. 🚗

But once the hair, makeup and glamour are complete, I can assure you I’ll be looking GODDAMN FABULOUS!

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications are now open for a Friday evening chauffeur. Must possess patience, a sense of humour and preferably a vehicle with removable doors. 😂

Because fashion is art, but sometimes it’s also an extreme sport.

Spring Racing is officially upon us, Melbourne’s social calendar is in full swing, and the sunshine has finally arrived!

Derby Day is a masterclass in monochrome dressing. But black and white needn’t mean predictable.

I’m particularly taken with this beautiful polka-dot creation by BY JOHNNY. Timeless, feminine and effortlessly sophisticated.

01 | BALANCE YOUR PROPORTIONS. Statement millinery should complement your silhouette, never compete with it.

02 | PLAY WITH TEXTURE. When colour is restricted, beautiful fabrics, sculptural accessories and thoughtful detailing create visual interest.

03 | DRESS BEYOND THE OCCASION. Swap the millinery for a raffia tote and espadrilles, and this race-day look becomes the perfect summer luncheon ensemble.

CHANEL MEETS ELLE WOODS. 💕

Some fashion crushes simply don’t fade overnight, and this fabulous pink Chanel has been living rent-free in my mind ever since!

What an incredible evening celebrating vintage luxury at HAWKEYE VINTAGE WORLD LEADING TRUSTED LUXURY SINCE 2012 last night.

For the occasion, I was delighted to discover emerging Australian label MAYROSE AVENUE, wearing their gorgeous pink Cassandra Dress, courtesy of .

Think Chanel-inspired sophistication with a little Elle Woods energy. Feminine, playful and unapologetically pink! And yes, there was the cutest matching bolero jacket. Watch this space for the reveal!

The finishing touch? My beautiful pearl earrings, kindly gifted by FREYA PEARLS.

As a stylist, championing Australian designers, conscious consumption and quality over quantity has always been at the heart of TITO STYLE.

After all, great style isn’t about constantly buying new. It’s about investing in pieces you love, embracing rental fashion and giving beautiful designs another life.

Which brings me back to Hawker Vintage. From exquisite vintage handbags and designer dresses to incredible kimonos, it’s a treasure trove for lovers of timeless fashion.

A little colour, a little ch*****ne, and a very welcome return to the fashion scene. 🦩

After a challenging few months with my health, Justin Tong’s private launch of The Nectar Realm felt like a particularly lovely occasion to step back into the room. It was a joy to reconnect with friends and be surrounded by people who love fashion as much as I do.

And the collection? A feast for the eyes. Vibrant florals, striking black and white, sculpted shapes and flowing gowns offer plenty of possibilities for the event season ahead. I definitely have my top picks, and I’m excited to wear a few pieces over the coming months and share them with you.

The ch*****ne flowed, even the bespoke canapés carried the JT name, and every corner held another detail to admire. A huge congratulations to Justin and his team on such a beautiful launch. It was wonderful to be back. ✨

This month’s Winter Layers story explores the art of tonal dressing, elevated layering and rich winter textures, showcasing retail partners Forever New, Novo and Tarocash.

The second installation celebrates outdoor adventure, featuring Kathmandu and a story built around warmth, functionality and the season’s essential layering pieces.

As a Visual Merchandising Stylist, every installation begins with a concept. The goal isn’t simply to merchandise a product, but to create a visual story that captures attention, inspires shoppers, and showcases each retail partner in a fresh and engaging way.

Buy smarter this winter.

For years, Melbourne Fashion Festival meant working behind the scenes. This year, it meant experiencing every runway from the other side, including a rather fabulous box seat for Glam Up Runway.

Moments before the show, dressed in this glorious emerald Mackenzie Mode creation, a reminder of why Australian fashion remains at the heart of my work. Bold colour, sculptural detail and just enough drama to make an entrance without requiring its own security detail.

As a stylist, I’ve always believed the right outfit should do more than look beautiful. It should communicate who you are before you say a word.
