As it's January, habit forming seems to be the topic of the month as its supposedly the most motivational month of the year 🤷🏽‍♀️
One thing I really want to keep doing, is tracking every habit that I want to form. When we start with small habits everyday, it can get so easy to get to the end of the
week and feel like you haven't accomplished everything that you wanted
to, or you've done nothing worthwhile.
But I've found that by tracking everything, not only does it remind me to get it done, but it also gives me a visual represenation of everything that I HAVE accomplished
over the week 💪🏼
If I've got 10 things planned to do, and I've only ticked off 4, I'm still making steps in the right direction. Slowly, that 4 will
turn to 5, then 6 and eventually I WILL get to 10 🙌🏽
Progress is still progress, no matter how small! ❤️

‘New year, new you’?
The past few years, I’ve made the mistake of making 100 different goals on January 1st and achieving absolutely none of them 🤦🏽‍♀️
We’ve been told it takes 90 days to build a habit, so trying to fit a 100 new goals into my daily routine was just never gonna work 🤷🏽‍♀️
So this year, I’m going to focus on 1 goal. 1 goal that I can say on December 31st 2021, that I stayed consistent at every day, improved on and achieved. That consistency will build the discipline I need to achieve everything else I dream of!

Only one more week to go! 🎄✨
As kids, Christmas Eve was always so magical at home for us! Staying up past our bedtime definitely wasn’t an everyday occurrence so getting it do it on December 24th was something to look forward to in itself 😋
We’d always leave the cookies out for Santa and wait on top of the stairs to see if he’d come and eat one, but end up falling asleep before we could find out ☹️
Now it’s so exciting to see the kids look forward to doing all the things we loved to do when we were their age!

Only 10 more days to go! Can't believe how fast Christmas has come round this year, but we'll probably end up saying the same thing next year too 🤪
We know that for some families around the world, Christmas might be looking a little different this year, but its important that we're grateful for all the things that we still have to look forward to and enjoy. New traditions can be just as good, if not better than old ones! ✨

Our whole life is made up of the choices that we make. In every step of our lives, we are given the opportunity to choose; and according to what we choose, is the consequence we are going to have.
We create our own reality through our own choices, giving us the power to create our life exactly the way we want it to look! ✨
The most important choice we get to make every day, is choosing between feeling positive or feeling negative. Even when every crazy thing possible has been thrown at you today, you STILL have the power to choose 💪🏼

Recently we’ve been seeing so many posts about kindness and the impact it can have on people, and we think it’s so important to share this message too! 🤗

During a time where so many people have been left in the unknown regarding their jobs, families and health, even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way. You could be standing next to someone who is trying their best not to fall apart, and the small gesture of kindness that you choose to display, could literally turn their day around ✨

To be intentionally kind, is to develop a mindset which seeks for the goodness of others. It’s thinking not only of ourselves, but being open and aware of the way we interact with those around us. When kindness becomes our nature, we will see kindness in others too and we won’t have to focus on being kind, it’ll be our way of life.

So from now, in whatever we do, we will choose to do it with kindness in our hearts. It costs us nothing, but can mean everything ❤️

The way we celebrate Christmas has definitely changed since we were kids! Growing up in the 90’s meant there was no online shopping available for one thing, and we didn’t have social media to document the entire day from opening presents to digging into a roast🍴
In a lot of ways, technology has made it possible to enjoy the holiday with family and friends all over the world and be able to buy gifts for anyone, anywhere, at the click of a button and we’re forever thankful for that ✨
But we hope that this Christmas we go back to spending time in the present (no pun intended 😜) and enjoy every moment as it happens, alongside creating memories that we can joyfully relive on our feeds 🙌🏽
