How it started VS How it finished!

Our epic NGV Gala outfits, inspired by Vivienne Westwood's 90s punk corsets and the ceilings of Versailles!

Pretty happy with how these turned out, we left it to the last minute (compared to our Alexander McQueen Gala outfits, which took 4 months of prep)

2026 we are opening a shop, which we will be running sewing classes from!

Follow along at for updates.

What an epic night of the opening of the Westwood | Kawakubo exhibition at the for the ⚡️⚡️

So many stand out outfits both in the exhibition and in the crowd.

Our outfits were inspired by Westwood's 1990s corset collection and you can clearly see the influence of Rei Kawakubo's Lumps and Bumps collection 1997 🤭😆

More details on how we designed and created our outfits but they included a custom print from !!

Throwback to our 2021 Exhibition 'Reclaimed'

We made the same top 7 times and composted 6 of them, pulling each one out at different stages to show the breakdown of the natural silk fibres. We used a poly thread so that would be all that was left behind, and a few buttons :)

After seeing all the “Sleeping beauties: Reawakening fashion” looks at this year's Met Gala we would love to see this on someone.

How it started vs how it ended.
This custom print cotton dress (photograph of a decaying plant by then made into a dress by .like.asha) was decomposed by worms over a 3 month period to show the breakdown of natural fibres.
See the time-lapse we created with it in a previous post!

After seeing all the “Sleeping beauties: Reawakening fashion” looks at this year's Met Gala we thought we'd revisit!

Time lapse of a decaying dress.

The custom print in this video is from a decaying plant and printed onto a cotton drill. You will notice that we've heavily b***d the inside of the dress to provide a contrast between man made and natural materials.

We then composted the dress in our worm farm for a few months, pulling it out every 4 days or so to photograph it. This is the result.

Have you heard the new song called CHANGES??
The film clip is equally as inspiring and we absolutely LOVE IT.

We are also happy to have been a part of creating a couple of the costumes for some of the upcoming clips, like this textured white kimono that Luke is wearing!!

Can't wait for the rest of the album!! 😁😎🥰
