Vault - NTAV

Vault - NTAV We're taking a short break, but we'll be back bigger and better than ever! Curated by the National Trust of Australia (Victoria).

We are putting a stylish foot forward with the grand opening of VAULT, a new boutique that will showcase a curated and ever-evolving collection of quality pre-loved and designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. Shop clothing, shoes, jewellery, hats, accessories, and collectables from a range of brands and labels, including big European designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Pucci and Oscar De la Rent

a, along with well-known Australian labels such as Zanko and Le Louvre. VAULT will showcase some of the extraordinary couture, designer clothing, and accessories the National Trust has collected from generous donations to the annual Vintage Clothing Sale, providing fashion lovers with an everchanging retail experience that will work to complement Melbourne’s seasons and events. VAULT is located within the historic retail precinct at Block Arcade on Collins Street. All proceeds from VAULT will go towards supporting the National Trust in conserving and protecting Victoria’s natural, cultural, and built heritage.

“You’re blithely unaware of the fact that, in 2025 Oscar de la Renta did a collection of stained glass window dresses, and then I think it was Vault that had a 1960s silk stained glass dress in store.” - Miranda Preistly…

IYKYK - Pick of the week is this vintage 1960s silk dress. Which somewhat mimics a stained glass window pattern.

Step inside Como House and discover a world where dining transcends mere sustenance and transforms into an exquisite visual and sensory installation. Delve into the artistry of tablescaping where motifs, colours, and designs converge in a rich tapestry of sensory delight.

Journey with guest designers, creatives, and artists as they reinterpret the experience and spectacle of dining through reimagined tablescapes and compelling installations. Beyond just sustenance, dining tables bring together family, friends and culture, shaping identities, preserving traditions and igniting memory, and each piece in this unique installation is inspired by an object or story of a National Trust property.

These absolutely exquisite 1930s Bally, gold leather and floral silk fabric heels are breathtakingly beautiful.

Bought and sold at Buckley & Nunn (Buckley’s) on Bourke street in Melbourne.

The department first opening its doors in 1851 as a drapery store. Famously causing congestion on the street as they put lingerie in their shop windows as early as 1912.

The building still stands as David Jones took over the business in 1982.
