MEET THE MAKER 🧶

Meet Anne & George from Red George of Kensington this Sunday at the Southbank Makers Market.

Anne is the maker behind the colourful world of eco-friendly crochet art, where every piece is handcrafted using rescued yarn and thoughtfully filled with stuffing made from recycled plastic water bottles. From whimsical animals to playful characters and one-of-a-kind creations, her work is all about bringing joy, personality and a little bit of magic into everyday life while giving materials a second life.

And then there’s George — the much-loved-oodle, market companion and unofficial quality-control manager. If you visit the stall, there’s a good chance you’ll find him charming passers-by and making new friends.

Together, Anne and George are Red George of Kensington — a celebration of creativity, sustainability and handmade craftsmanship.

Come and meet Anne & George this Sunday, explore their colourful collection, and discover the stories behind every stitch.
