Having Shannon as our marriage celebrant was one of the most special and meaningful decisions we made for our wedding.

It truly felt like an honour to have her be part of our journey. We first saw Shan in action at a friend’s wedding, and from that moment, we knew she was something special. Over time, we were lucky enough to attend a couple more weddings where she was the celebrant, and each time she delivered something uniquely beautiful, heartfelt, and unforgettable. From that very first experience, we knew without a doubt that when our time came, Shannon had to be apart of our day too.

So the day after we got engaged, there was no hesitation. We reached out to Shan immediately because we simply couldn’t imagine our day without her. From the very beginning, she made us feel so excited, supported, and completely at ease.

Shannon is quite honestly an absolute wizard and truly the best in the business. The way she crafts a ceremony is nothing short of magic. She has this incredible ability to balance joy, humour, and deep emotional connection all at once. Our ceremony was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was filled with laughter, warmth, and beautiful moments of reflection, while still allowing space for genuine connection between us.

She captured our story so perfectly and delivered it in a way that felt authentic, personal, and deeply meaningful. Not just for us, but for everyone there. So many of our guests commented on how incredible she was and how it was one of the most memorable ceremonies they had ever witnessed.

Shannon didn’t just officiate our wedding, but she elevated it into something truly unforgettable. We will forever be grateful for the energy, care, and passion she brought to our day.

A bit of a different one today as I congratulate my own parents on their 50th Wedding Anniversary!

An incredible milestone and deserving of high praise in a world where walking away or not sticking at it is so easy.

They’ve ridden the highs and weathered the lows, endured serious illnesses and overcome huge challenges, raised three children and watched them raise theirs too.

Their persistence and commitment to each other is truly admirable, so today I raise my glass to Kerrie and Graeme McGregor. Congratulations mum and dad - I’m so proud of you both!
