I’m Juliet — mum of two, former nanny and early childhood educator — and creator of The Duck.

It began with my nephew. I wanted to make him something calm enough for those early newborn days, but that would actually grow with him — supporting his development without needing to be replaced every few weeks.
So I made The Duck. Handmade by me, in my home studio in Melbourne. Designed to support your baby’s milestones from newborn right through to toddlerhood — and to give you a moment to actually breathe.

This message landed in my inbox and honestly stopped me in my tracks. 🥹💛

Back story: I donated A Duck to the wonderful mums walking group for their first birthday celebration, and Charlie’s mum won prize pack. This is the message she sent….⬆️

I make these by hand, one at a time, in my little Melbourne home studio. And moments like this are exactly why. Knowing that something I created is helping other mums and babies makes my heart full.
