i’m walking through the casino when i notice a $1,000 chip just chilling on the floor.
no dealer. no crowd. no chaos.
just sitting there like the universe dropped a side quest directly in my path.
i pick it up and some guy nearby immediately goes,
“you shouldn’t touch that… someone probably dropped it.”
correct.
that is, in fact, how floors work.
he’s shaking his head like i just hacked the system.
meanwhile i’m thinking if i leave it here, housekeeping is about to complete this quest for me.
i didn’t steal it.
i recovered it.
now i’m standing here wondering if this is luck or a pop quiz from the universe.
either way, i’m cashing it before it changes its mind.
