“Dreamscape”. Alcohol inks and posca pens on canvas. I worked with one of my lovely clients today who is the master of alcohol inks, and she encouraged me to try it out. It’s a bit sillier than I had hoped, but it captures what’s in my head most of the time when I look at patterns or clouds, crumpled fabric etc. the ordinary object comes alive with a myriad of fantastic characters. First hat I’ve made this year. A commission piece from a very good friend. He had a party to go to themed “DADA”. Of course I was inspired by Salvador Dali’s “ lobster phone” circa 1938, so this is my hat version. A very challenging piece to make. ❤️

Initial sketch idea for the Sydney moss skate deck show board. This one will be entirely back lit and will hand as a light on the wall with an image in poured resin in front of the light. My alien space craft will feature as will my other current obsession- the northern lights. And under it a waterfall. Overlayed will be subtle sacred geometry. Just the skeleton idea at the moment. Excited to be doing this for the Sydney show. Keep a look out for my progress, I’ll post as I go. Dusting off the jigsaw about to cut a big panel from the centre of the deck…..😹☠️
