Significant recent accomplishments include: Selection by the Victorian State Government in partnership with L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival to represent Melbourne designers at London Fashion Week, Finalist in The Powerhouse Museum International Lace Award, Selection for the Signature Style touring exhibition curated by Craft Victoria, Costume Design commission for The Australian Ballet and exhibited collaborations with jeweller Tessa Blazey. The work of the ALEXI FREEMAN brand has been featured by international cult blogs Style Bubble, Kingdom of Style, Taistoisoisbeau, and Fashionising. The ALEXI FREEMAN brand is fast becoming a recognised contributor to the Australian fashion landscape and continues to attract the attention of industry and public alike. Monday – Friday 9-6pm you can find Alexi *by appointment* in his natural habitat, head down bum up at his studio in Collingwood. When he’s not there, you can also find him cooking up a storm, practising astanga yoga, bopping along to Melbourne’s incredible live music scene, or putting in the hard yards for his teammates at The Tote Hotel Football Club.
